I finally had the chance to see the CN 250th anniversary duo as they came in mid morning on the CN Z195 and would go back out on Z194 in the early evening. Before that, I spent some time at the junction between the CN Matteson sub and the UP/CSX Villa Grove sub IN Chicago Heights. While not quite as busy as the last time I was here, there were still a few interesting catches. Highlights include CN E271 led by a ex-CREX ES44AC (I would see the same train later before getting the Z194), CN L515 led by a OLS IC GP40R/EJ&E SD38-3/CN SD60, a late running CN A408 led by an IC SD70, as well as a pair of new UP C44ACM rebuilds leading separate trains.
