Haxorus is another Pokémon much like Chandelure with a 145+ offense stat sitting at 147 base Attack so it has a lot of potential in many different situations and can be played in different ways. In terms of abilities Rivalry and Unnerve are useable abilities in certain situation but I feel like the best ability to use is Mold Breaker. The Mold Breaker ability allows Haxorus to ignore the opposing Pokémon's ability when using moves. In the video I show two examples of ignoring Multiscale and hitting Lugia and Dragonite with damage that ignores the Multiscale damage reduction. I would like to once again point out as I did in the Excadrill How To Use video that Mold Breaker also allows Haxorus to hit the Steel tera Latios and Latias we've all been seeing in the meta lately with ground moves even though they have the Levitate ability. There are many other examples of abilities that we can ignore including Mimikyu Disguise so that with a focus sash and steel move we can win the trade, so I think Mold Breaker is the best ability on Haxorus. Another thing to point out from the video is that Mold Breaker doesn’t bypass Lunala’s Shadow Shield so the opponent could have beat me but they switched in and took a hit which broke their Shadow Shield ability effect. The first set has an EV spread for enough bulk to survive some trades while relying on Dragon Dance to attain the speed and attack that we need especially with the held item focus sash. The second set is a Jolly nature with full investment in speed and we take the moves Scale Shot to gain more speed and First Impression to get the priority finish. I didn’t show every set in this video but people like to run Guillotine on Haxorus as well. No copyright infringement is intended.
