I'm baking homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies with Orange (our second cookie video) perfect for the season! These treats bring out all the cozy fall flavors, just like our first cookie video with pumpkin. Fun little fact: these cookies are Sanna's favorite! I bake her a different kind of cookie batch every birthday. 🍪✨ Full Recipe Ingredients: 230g room temperature butter 65g brown sugar 290g sugar 1 tsp vanilla sugar 1 egg zest + 20g juice from 1 orange 260g fluor 1 tsp baking soda 1 pinch sea salt 100 ml cacao 1 tsp instant coffee 100g Dark chocolate buttons + extra for topping Mix butter until fluffy. Add the sugar and the brown sugar and mix well. Add vanilla sugar and the egg. Grate the zest from the whole orange and add 20g juice from the orange and mix again. In a new bowl blend flour, baking soda, sea salt, cacao and instant coffee, mix well. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture, mix well again. Add the chocolate buttons. Divide the mixture to 10 balls, about 100g each. You can put them on a baking sheet if you want, but I didn't have room in my fridge so it was easier to wrap them up in plastic for easier storage. Have them in the fridge for over night. The next day preheat the oven for 175C/ 347 F. Make the cookies flat on one side (so the look like little domes instead of balls) and put them on a baking sheet. Bake the cookies for 9-10 min. When the cookies are out of the oven, add extra chocolate buttons and a little sea salt to taste on the top. Let the cookies chill properly. And if you're like us and prefer the cookies cold, let them chill in the fridge for a couple of hours before you eat them (Sanna even prefers to have them in the freezer haha).
