How to be Creative with a 10 Minute Bass Guitar Recording | Episode 7 | Clip 1

In this clip of Episode 7 from my Creating Bass Loops Live Stream, I am working in Logic Pro on over 10 minutes of bass guitar recording. I move, copy, make cuts and at one point I change the bass line from what I recorded by removing a part. I like this way of working because if you remove something, you can add it back later for emotional effect. Music is about interest and emotional involvement. This can be achieved by adding elements, as well as adding variations - something that is at the core of my 10 minute bass guitar recordings. Over the span of 10 minutes I add many many variations of a simple groove. I even create a variation that could be used as a chorus.
