Adrian Johnston is Distinguished Professor and Chair of Philosophy at the University of New Mexico. He also is a faculty member of the Emory Psychoanalytic Institute (Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Emory University School of Medicine). He is the author of multiple books on German idealism, Marxism, psychoanalysis, science, and politics. Learning Objectives: 1. Ongoing efforts to interface psychoanalysis with neuroscience (as "neuro-psychoanalysis") 2. How the perennial mind-body problem is addressed within neuro-psychoanalysis 3.
