ESEE 6 SURVIVAL KNIFE CUTTING DEMO AND OVERVIEW

This vid gives my overview of my ESEE 6 and some of the cutting tasks I do with it. This is the first knife I have owned from the ESEE range. After 3 months use, I have found the ESEE 6 to be a versatile and a pleasure to use. Its robustness is reassuring and the edge is easy to sharpen and doesn't need doing that often as it seems to hold a good edge even after heavy use. As a woman, I do not find the ESEE 6 to be cumbersome or heavy as it is so well balanced and the choil means that I can use it well for finer tasks and makes it feel like a smaller blade, though the I find that the 'flat grind means it does not 'bite' the wood as deeply as the scandi grind does. It has been used for camping, wood/bushcraft tasks and I intend to have it with me for hunting and fishing trips in the future as my main blade.
