Most of the video has been translated but there are still a few lines that I couldn't make out, indicated in the subtitles. Thanks to 'Aqil Azme for identifying a total of 11 missing lines. –––––– 0:00 Chants of "Laa ilaha illallah" Known as the tahlil and also the kalimah, this is the most central dhikr (litany for the remembrance of God) in Islam. It is considered to be an affirmation of absolute monotheism, and therefore the first half of the declaration of faith required to convert to Islam (the shahadah). 2:55 Couplet from Ibn al-Farid's Khamriyyah Ibn al-Farid was a Syrian-Egyptian poet from the 12th century who is often considered to be the Arab Rumi because of his prolific and profound Sufi poetry, and his al-Khamriyyah ("The Wine Ode") is his most famous poem. 3:43 Ishrab Sharab Ahl al-Safa Ishrab Sharab is a Sufi qasidah (classical Arabic poem) often attributed to 13th century Andalusian Sufi master and poet Abu al-Hasan al-Shushtari, but I've been unable to find a source for this and as far as I can tell the origin is unknown. If anyone knows of a reliable source for the original poet please let me know. Either way the qasidah is likely hundreds of years old and is regularly sung in the gatherings of several Sufi orders (tariqahs). Note that only a portion of Ishrab Sharab is usually sung.
