Sewing A Structured VICTORIAN STEAMPUNK SKIRT, Making A Lobster Tail Cage Bustle

This video is part two of a Sew Along Vlog for the Costube Symposium where I show you how I make a structured steampunk bustle skirt inspired by the beautiful, fantasy Victorian costumes in the film Secret of Moonacre. The costumes feature a stunning lobster tail, cage bustle as their design focal point and this makes an absolutely wonderful cosplay for steam punk fashions. In this video I finish sewing the skirt together, attach the waistband and show you how I create the decorative bows. Then, in the final reveal, I wear the skirt as part of a full steampunk outfit to a local country park. I hope you find it inspiring an instructional, although this video is not intended to be a step by step tutorial. In part one, I show you how I draft the pattern for the skirt, I make a long row of pleated ruffles and create the bustle cage section.
