Review and Smoking a Pall Mall Athens Nightfall Flavored Cigarette from Mexico, which contains 13mg Tar, 0.9mg Nicotine, and 10mg Carbon Monoxide, making it quite a full flavor when compared to others there. This variety was first introduced in mid-2021 within Mexico from what I can tell, making it a somewhat recent addition to the lineup. Pall Mall was originally introduced in 1899 in England as a premium cigarette brand, and shortly thereafter, the nameplate was purchased by the American Tobacco Company in 1907, who held onto it for the next 87 years or so. During AT's ownership, the brand experienced the height of its popularity in America during the early 1960's, and still to this day, it is more popular than not in the States, but it is certainly not what it used to be. These days, within the US, PM is a budget brand produced by RJ Reynolds, and outside of the USA, it is made by British American Tobacco, including in Mexico, where it is a much bigger brand than not, and, if I had to hazard a guess, is probably the second most smoked brand there, due to their low price and wide variety of selection.
