A New Benchmark for Global Art Investment - Launching MM Art Indices - Webinar

Art investment is increasingly attracting attention from collectors, investors, and policymakers alike. This is the replay of a webinar jointly hosted by ‪@CheungKongGSB‬ (Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business) and ‪@SDABOCCONI‬ on July 16, 2025. CKGSB’s Professor Mei Jianping in collaboration with SDA Bocconi’s professors Andrea Rurale and Brunella Bruno launched the MM Art Indices—a data-driven, cross-continental set of indices tracking the performance of the global art market. Based on data from Sotheby’s, Christie’s, and Phillips, the researchers behind the initiative presented key findings from the Indices’ newly released MM Continental Art Price Index, as well as surprising results for Spring 2025 of the MM Chinese Art Indices, which have been released since 2023.
