RC Messerschmitt ME-262 and Pitts Special: Flight Ten

This is a Dynam 1400mm wingspan 'Messerschmitt Me 262'. The power supply is a 4500mAh 6S lipo with twin 100A ESCs. The model has twin 70mm 12-bladed EDFs. Flight Review: On this flight I had both cameras running and Mike was at the field with his Special, so we decided to have a bit of a match up. I was actually pretty happy with how the 262 tracked considering the elevator throw was still limited after I had just remanded the elevators. I managed to get in behind him multiple times. His Special was very fast with a tight turning circle, but flying smooth and stable patterns let me close the gap more than once. There are some nice low passes followed by full throttle climbs, including one roll right at the peak before pulling out and continuing downwind. I broke away from the chase for a short period before returning again, but with the pack down to about 25 percent I decided it was time to land. I held the jet off nicely in a high alpha approach, but instead of reducing throttle for touchdown I relaxed the flare too much and hit the ground harder than intended. A bit of a shame because up until that point the flight was very much under control.
