Exploring Ellaville (Florida) Ghost Town

Journey with me into the ghost town of Ellaville located in northern Florida along the Suwannee River. George Franklin Drew was one of the founders of the town and later went on to become Florida's 12th Governor. He built a mansion by the river and on this adventure tour through parts of Ellaville was a boom town of the 1800's where approximately 1000 people lived at one time. Logging, railroad and turpentine operations were a large industry in the town. Today much of the old parts of town are being reclaimed by nature. On this adventure I explore parts of the old Drew mansion and cemetery. Enjoy and thank you for watching!
