Wizards of the Coast will be releasing an updated version of Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition which was referred to as One DnD when it was first revealed but the name was since dropped. However, many people in the DnD community still refer to this updated version as One DnD or 5.5e. As of right now, One DnD has released a series of different playtests consisting of a plethora of balance changes, ruling overhauls, and a whole lot of other changes that are meant to be backwards compatible with the original 5e.
