Das Kulturzentrum Gasteig in München ist vorübergehend ins Interimsquartier Gasteig HP8 umgezogen. Den Anfang machten die Münchner Philharmoniker bereits im Herbst 2021. Sie residieren nun in der neuen Isarphilharmonie. NÜSSLI realisierte als Generalunternehmen die temporäre Konzerthalle und auf dem gleichen Gelände die weiteren Modulbauten für die Münchner Volkshochschule, Gasteig München GmbH sowie die Hochschule für Musik und Theater München. Europas grösstes Kulturzentrum muss generalsaniert werden. Der Gasteig mit seinen 1.800 Vorstellungen pro Jahr – Konzerte, Theateraufführungen, Filme, Lesungen, Shows – bei laufendem Betrieb umzubauen, war jedoch unmöglich. Deshalb musste ein Ausweichquartier gefunden werden, und so ist der neue temporäre Gasteig HP8 auf dem Areal der Stadtwerke München in Sendling entstanden. Die neue Isarphilharmonie: Ein Konzertsaal der Superlative Das Herzstück des Interimsquartiers Gasteig HP8 ist die fünfstöckige Isarphilharmonie, die trotz modularer Bauweise höchsten Konzertgenuss in beachtlichen Dimensionen bietet. Entworfen haben die Konzerthalle die Architekten von Gerkan, Marg und Partner (gmp) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Yasuhisa Toyota und seinem Team von Nagata Acoustics, den Akustikexperten, die auch für die Elbphilharmonie verantwortlich zeichnen. NÜSSLI setzte die Interimsphilharmonie baulich um. Die Konstruktion des imposanten Gebäudes besteht aus einer Stahlhülle aus Systemmaterial sowie vorgefertigten Holzmodulen, die den Innenausbau bilden. Der 60.000 m3 grosse dunkel gehaltene Konzertsaal bietet Platz für circa 1800 Zuschauer und Zuschauerinnen. Termindruck und wenig Platz auf der Baustelle Eine Herausforderung für das NÜSSLI Team waren nicht nur die kurze Bauphase, sondern auch die sehr engen Platzverhältnisse am neuen Gasteig. Rohbau und Hülle, Innenausbau, Deckenlandschaft, Philharmoniesaal, technische Gebäudeausstattung und Brandschutz – viele Teilprojekte und Prozesse liefen parallel auf kleinstem Raum, der nicht zuletzt wegen Corona präzise geplant und genutzt werden musste. Haus G, Haus K und Saal X NÜSSLI verantwortete auch die Fertigstellung der drei weiteren Modulbauten auf dem Sendlinger Gelände, die der Münchner Stadtbibliothek, der Münchner Volkshochschule sowie der Hochschule für Musik und Theater München als neue temporäre Heimat dienen. |EN| The Gasteig cultural center in Munich will continue to offer its usual diverse and lively program during an approximately five-year renovation phase – in an interim structure with a new philharmonic hall in the Sendling district. Based on the plans by gmp International, NUSSLI implemented the temporary concert hall using a modular timber construction technique. Acoustics expert Yasuhisa Toyota will be handling the audiospatial design. Europe's largest cultural center needs a general renovation. However, it was impossible to rebuild the Gasteig with its 1,800 performances per year - concerts, theater performances, films, readings, shows – while it was still in operation. An alternative venue therefore had to be found, and so the new temporary Gasteig HP8 was built on the Stadtwerke München site in Sendling. The new Isar Philharmonic: A concert hall of superlatives The centerpiece of the interim Gasteig HP8 is the five-story Isar Philharmonic Hall, which, despite its modular construction, offers the highest concert enjoyment in remarkable dimensions. The concert hall was designed by architects von Gerkan, Marg und Partner (gmp) in close collaboration with Yasuhisa Toyota and his team from Nagata Acoustics, the acoustics experts who are also responsible for the Elbphilharmonie. NUSSLI implemented the interim philharmonic hall structurally. The construction of the imposing building consists of a steel shell made of system material and prefabricated wooden modules that form the interior. The 60,000 m3 dark concert hall provides space for approximately 1800 spectators. Deadline pressure and limited space on the construction site A challenge for the NUSSLI team was not only the short construction phase, but also the very tight space conditions at the new Gasteig. Shell construction and envelope, interior finishing, ceiling landscape, philharmonic hall, technical building equipment and fire protection - many sub-projects and processes ran in parallel in a very small space, which had to be planned and used precisely, not least because of Corona. House G, House K, and Hall X NUSSLI was also responsible for the completion of the three other modular buildings on the Sendlinger site, which serve as the new temporary home of the Munich City Library, the Munich Adult Education Center, and the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts.
