Terra Metals produces 3 high-grade concentrates at Dante Reefs

Terra Metals Ltd managing director and CEO Thomas Line talked with Proactive about the company’s successful Phase 1 metallurgical test work at its Dante Reefs project. Line confirmed that Terra Metals has produced three high-grade concentrates using simple and low-cost techniques — flotation and magnetic separation — from a single composite sample. “We produced three high grade concentrates,” Line said. “One of those is a copper precious metal sulfide concentrate. It has high grade copper at 28% copper, 17g per ton gold, and over 20g per ton platinum group metals.” The second product is a high-grade vanadium concentrate at 1.81% V₂O₅, which Line said exceeded many global benchmarks. The third is a high-purity titanium ilmenite concentrate grading about 40% TiO₂, a strong result from hard rock sources. These outputs point to Dante Reefs as a potential globally competitive source of copper, vanadium, and titanium products. Line added that despite these promising results, the work is still preliminary and part of a larger two-phase process. Phase 2 test work is already underway, aimed at optimising recoveries and concentrate quality.
