Makati Police identified the victim as Angelica Dacera, 23, a cabin crew, of General Santos City. Based on the initial investigation of the police, a friend of the victim, Rommel Galida, found her lifeless in the bathtub of their room in City Garden Hotel in Barangay Poblacion, Makati around 12:30 p.m. Galida reportedly told their other friends— Gregorio Angelo, Rafael de Guzman, and John Dela Serna— about what happened to Dacera. “Mr. Galida informed their friends Mr. Gregorio Angelo Rafael de Guzman and Mr. John Dela Serna who immediately called the management of City Garden Grand Hotel who brought Ms. Dacera to their clinic,” the police report stated. Police said Peter Paul Ponongcos, security chief of the said hotel, conducted Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation or CPR to Dacera but failed.
