Sting - Seven Days - Drum Cover by Joaquin Correa

I had always wanted to learn this, but I found it too intimidating due to the number of little details it has and my inability to memorise parts. I ended up having to read this whole thing. I am not overly happy with how it turned out. I thought of maybe doing more takes but I got a bit impatient in the end. There was a previous take that I think had better flow and sound but I made a pretty stupid mistake going into the third chorus so this will have to do. Anyways the song is by Sting with Colaiuta on drums who needs no introduction. He is one of my all time favourite drummers. I had not realised just how genious his playing was on this track until I tried learning it note per note. It is wild to think he just improvised it all and was so beautiful, precise, with flair yet always elegant and tasteful. Enough talk. I hope you enjoy it even though I did not do it justice.
