Bali served in the uniform for four decades wherein he served in Kashmir for ten years, commanded a Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, conducted anti terror operations against ULFA and served overseas in Africa and the USA. Apart from command appointments, Gen. Bali served as an instructor in Infantry School and Army War College, Mhow and the Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. Since he hung his uniform, the General has been CEO of two companies. He later founded LeadScape advisors, a consulting firm focused on Leadership Training and Mentoring.
