🎉 Sta Catarina Martyr Weekend – Teulada Comes Alive! 🎉 Today’s video captures one of Teulada’s most joyful traditions —Half Year of the Quintades - part of the Sta Catarina weekend. We start with the noisiest and cutest parade you’ll ever see: local children marching through the streets, banging pots and pans, following the band and filling the town with energy. This weekend also marks the half-year celebrations of the Quintades, who are the groups formed of all the lads and lassies turning 18 in each particular year, when National Service used to call. You’ll see plenty of groups, costumes and community spirit throughout the video. Their support, noise and smiles add even more colour to the day. Then comes one of the best moments of all… 👉 A giant paella served to around 200 people — completely free! Neighbours, families, visitors and the Quintades all come together for a proper Valencian feast.
