Overall not too bad if you make use of Malice Cannon. Kaguya is a much more susceptible target for it since she generally moves less than Eirin during her spells, and her patterns are a lot less restrictive on your own movement overall. BDB is pretty hard, I can barely read the lasers since they're so glaring and the bullets like to clump up in the lanes you're supposed to go through. Knowing that the lasers are aimed does help but this pattern still gets me a lot of the time. Buddhist Diamond is a big reason I wanted to use Magic Team. Malice Cannon just completely shreds this spell apart whereas for the other teams it would be a pretty troublesome spell which can wall really easily due to the lasers and random stars. As a bonus, Malice Cannon also completely destroys the 2nd non. 3rd non is similar to Eirin's except much easier, the gaps are a lot more apparent and the bacteria bullets are less dense. Salamander Shield is weak to Malice Cannon too, Kaguya becomes a sitting duck if you take out the familiars. LSI can be challenging for Magic Team to get used to due to their very small range, and Kaguya moves constantly while the lasers restrict your movement. It's a very Eirin-esque spell. The laser hitboxes are really slow in activating though, for a brief moment after they look like they're active you can still pass right through them so I focus on going through the stars first. If Kaguya moves low and the familiar spawns high on the screen I'm usually done for. Since Kaguya moves horizontally towards you if you're away from her, I try to end up slightly offset from her position at the end of each wave so that she moves right into the Cannon instead of trying to chase after her the whole time. Hourai Jewel is completely memo, I just reapplied the well-known yellow bullet strategy that helped me cap this during my L1cc with some adaptations to damage Kaguya since Magic Team lacks range and homing. 5 Last Spells in a row seems daunting but I just treat them as individual phases of one long spell like Hourai Elixir. They do take more effort though, but they're not complicated. The last phase of Rising World is just complete chaos and it's probably harder to do consistently compared to Hourai Elixir, but also easier to randomly luck out on. With this, I've LNN(NN)FS-ed every Stage 3~6 boss in every mainline Windows Touhou game, at least until Touhou 19 comes out. I guess the next logical step would be to go for LNBs or something but I'm not really that interested in them, runs take so long and my motivation drains away whenever I think about it. I can't remember the last time I did a full run honestly, I'm having a lot more fun just picking out stage sections/bosses from whichever game I randomly feel like playing and putting my full attention on it for 10~15 minutes at a time. Who knows what I'll do next.
