Chicken ~500g, wash and drain 2. Rice 2 cups 3. Water 3.5 cups (amount depend on individual rice cooker) 4. Ginger small piece, minced 5. Garlic 2 cloves, minced 6. Shallots 5pcs, sliced 7. Chinese sausage 1pc, sliced 8. Spring onion, diced Seasoning 1. Oyster sauce 1tbsp 2. Light soya sauce 1tbsp 3. Dark soya sauce little 4. Salt little 5. Sugar little Method 1. Heat wok with 3tbsp of oil. Add in shallots and ginger first. Cook until medium heat. Then add in garlic and stir fry till golden brown. Drain and set aside. (Note garlic has higher level of glucose so will turn darker faster) 2. With the balance oil, stir fry the chicken till oil extracted from the skin. Then add in seasoning and continue to cook. Add in water (3.5 cups) and bring to boil. Let it boil for 1 min and then pour it into the washed rice in the cooker. Mix well. 3. Add in Chinese sausage and (step 1). Mix well and bring to cook. At the last 4min, open the cooker cover and mix it. Cover back and continue to cook. You may enjoy after 10-15min later. 4. Serve and enjoy! 💕 Tips : Put some raw garlics in the rice container with the rice to prevent weevils from growing. Weevils are type of beetles most commonly found in the rice if no proper storage.
