Visited Bergen from Oslo on the Bergen Line via VY trains. Booked the Compartment for the 6.5 hour journey each way. This trip took place in mid-May 2022. Stayed at Citybox Bergen Danmarksplass in the Junior Suite which had a bath tub and 2 sinks. The room was on the 5th floor and we had a corner suite which had great views. Took a day tour by Fjordrive which included a tour to Dale, boarded a cruise at Gudvangen, through the Nærøyfjorden, which ended in Flåm, and the Stegastein viewpoint. (https://www.fjordrive.com/fjordrive-t...) Ate at Pingvinen, a popular restaurant but went during a rainy lunch time and there was no crowds. Had the smoked salmon sandwich and beer cured deer. Spent hours up at the top of Mount Fløyen and wandered through Bryggen.
