Business Systems First of all, we step out of the business to see the big picture. This will allow us to draft our Core Process Map. The next step is zooming in to identify the key function of each process using Flowcharts. Our goal is to visualize the process, determine the key decision points and define accountability. Lastly, we design our Task Management software that reflects our Process Flowcharts, including detailed procedures. Team Structure Our goal is to transfer accountability and minimize deciding/micromanaging. We want our team to act like owners. We clarify: WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE = Expectations HOW IT NEEDS TO BE DONE = Procedures WHY IT NEEDS TO BE DONE = Incentives Growth Strategy We want to eliminate most of the options to avoid paralysis. Making the choice and creating an action plan can actually be the biggest obstacle. We consider our existing assets and constraints to come up with the right Growth Plan for our business.
