Testing Film Colorization Techniques - Theda Bara

I had a couple of ideas for a while, so I tried on 3 short (very short) clips of Theda Bara, one of my all time favorite Silent Screen stars. The first footage, I used masking through Adobe After Effects, which was quicker than the others I tried. The second footage, using Photoshop and AE. This took the longest for such short footage. The third, went back again to AE and used tinting and other colorization techniques after cleaning up the film and enhancing. A lot of color 'bleeding' but just an experiment. These are my first attempts and experiments with actual footage. I only hope to improve from here.
