After more than 25 years, CP engines are seen in Saint John again! Lots of horn action as Canadian Pacific Railway locomotives 8814 (ES44AC Gevo), and 7059 (upgraded EMD SD70ACu) run light power crossing the busy Simms Corner crossings in the Lancaster area of West Saint John, NB on an overcast afternoon. The CP units are heading to Bayshore Yard as NBSR 121 to pick up part of it's train. Some pretty crazy drivers in the port city ignoring flashing lights, bells, and even the blast of the horn as the engines approach the crossing. The Canadian Pacific Railway is temporary leading NBSR some engines (used on run trough intermodal trains 120/121) to help the power short NBSR railway. NBSR is getting several more rebuilt EMD SD70M-2s which should arrive early in 2023. Filmed at 3:02pm, Thursday December 22, 2022 at mile 0.28 of the West Saint John Spur (off of mile 2.2 of the NBSR McAdam Subdivision). Camera: Canon VIXIA HF R800
