It’s actually pretty easy!! Always follow the manufacturer directions of what ever fertilizer you are using. I’m this video I’m using Dynagro foliage pro fertilizer one of my faves in the store. I love it because it has all your macro and micro nutrients, it’s a one part fertilizer no mixing multiple bottles, guaranteed to not burn plants and there are many applications you can use it. The brand has many specific plant niches but for beginners the foliage pro one will suit most house plants. Why a foliar spray? It’s great to use On plants that don’t need much like: Tillandisa Cactus Lithops Some people have been experimenting with foliar spray on carnivorous plants as well. Another great application is when you have a sick plant or import plants with root rot. They won’t be able to intake nutrients and/or water as easily so you can rehab with foliar sprays. Sprays are meant to used on leaves not on or in flowers/buds. Avoid using sprays of any kind when the plant is in intense sun periods like the middle of day or right before your grow lights turn on.
