http://http://www.lpainc.com/ As part of the Los Angeles Community College District's (LACCD) new delivery method: design-build best value, the McCarthy Building Companies / LPA Architects team designed a 38,168-square-foot Monarch Center and parking structure, which meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification standards. The Monarch Center will bring together many student-centered departments which include retail establishments (i.e. bookstore and cafeteria), business offices, and a Student Services Annex. The annex encompasses student government space, for the Associated Student Union (ASU), and physical and mental health services for a Student Health Center.
