Carving a historical recreation of a Puukko handle by hand ( only AXE and KNIFE)

Carving a greenwood knife handle with basic tools (Axe / Knife) which are widely represented in history to be crucial in crafting. People often use modern tools (rasps, files, belt grinders, ...) to recreate "historical knives", instead of using this i figured out an axe and knife would be more accurate to carve wooden handles, besides it is a fun challenge. Antler can also be carved by axe and knife, a rasp and file would also be great to shape antler ... but a file is not specifically usefull for wood. I try to make everything with methods and handtools that were used throughout history before the industrial revolution.
