Darren Rook takes me through the history of The London Distillery Company that he Co Founded back in 2010. What started as a 10 minute chat ended up in a 50 minute fascinating account of London's first Single Malt Whisky to be produced in over 100 years. The work Darren and his team started has since helped pave the way for new Whisky Distilleries in England. Please Note Darren and the LDC parted ways at the end of 2017, and the views expressed are his own account of those circumstances. As someone interested in the history of English Whisky production only, I wanted to hear how the company started and how the Whisky was produced. Since early 2020 The British Honey Company own all rights and stock relating to the former LDC.
