RD-Elastodeck is single-component liquid waterproofing system for roofs, decks and balconies. It's a water-based coating based on special resins for the waterproofing of flat surfaces. RD-Elastodeck is very easy to use and can be applied in less than a day in favorable weather conditions. Very effective, it can be applied over a broad range of different type of substrates including old bitumen roofs or fiber-cement. It’s an excellent waterproofing system for small ‘til large scale projects. When renovating a flat surface, using RD-Roof Fleece is strongly recommended and will extend considerably the lifespan of the system. RD-Elastodeck is water-based, easy to handle, safe and has no fire risks. It is a fast-drying coating system that greatly reduces downtime during installation. Virtually odor free, it does not affect neighboring occupants and can therefore be used in occupied buildings. RD-Elastodeck is UV resistant and is meant to be applied as primer and finishing coat. It should be top coated by other RD Coatings systems in case the surface will be subject to wear like foot or car traffic. Its permanent 200% elasticity enables it to adhere even on flexible or soft surfaces like roofing. It is a Dry Fall coating; any overspray turns into dry dust and can easily be removed.
