Jensen VX7010 - GPS restored to different sd card equals no maps

I went ahead and restored the maps to a different 4GB card I had lying around. I figured maybe the old one is bad. It seems that they still have that problem each time when you try to open the program telling you that you didn't close it right. I still get the "Irregular shutdown detected" so I don't know why as I do shut it down correctly. I went ahead and used a regular sd card adapter this time instead of doing it straight from the small sd card slot just to make sure that's not a problem. I'll try to restore from an earlier version and see if that works. I guess I'll also pick up another sd card reader just for fun. I know mine works or I wouldn't be able to see the files and write/delete them. Needles to say, this is getting ridiculous because it's just not working for me no matter what I do. I am trying everything that I can do on my side to make it work and it's just not.
