Introduced in the early 2000s, it combined composite construction, advanced glass avionics, and the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System into a high performance single engine platform that reshaped owner expectations. This SR22 arrived at BAS to help support the active Cirrus fleet. As it moves through disassembly, high demand components will be carefully documented and listed for customers maintaining these aircraft.
