Check our Audi SQ5 video review for comparison:    • Audi SQ5 test review of the sports SUV and...   The all new Porsche Macan looks like a small Cayenne -- it's not a revolution, the design is rather an evolution of the bigger brother. With just very few design lines, it looks calm, but determined. Same for the sporty interior: Classic Porsche style. With maybe a little too many buttons, but a clean aluminium atmosphere and a small handy steering wheel. A lot of side support and options for the seats -- even a seat cooling. And now -- lets make it dirty. What do you think -- how does it look now? The optional air suspension keeps it comfortable, even offroad. So it is even more comfortable than the Audi Q5, which is not supposed to be that sporty. The good sound insulation keeps it calm inside, exept when you hit the sport plus mode and really wanna hear that engine. The white one we have seen, the Macan S, has a 3 litre petrol engine with 340 hp, the literally dirty Macan Turbo here is a 3.6 litre petrol turbo with 400 hp -- also available is the Macan S Diesel, a 3 litre Diesel with 258 hp. Both Macan S petrol and Diesel start at 58.000 Euro in Germany and at 43.000 Pounds in the UK. 50.000 dollars it is in the US, where you have to count out the Diesel. A small 2 litre engine with 237 hp is already available on special demand in the UK. And it is said that there will also be a smaller Diesel in the future. The entry level is by the way quite the price of the Audi SQ5, which is kind of the example model for the Porsche Macan. Both are built on the same platform. On the technical level, they have thrown out the Audi quattro and put in the Porsche All Wheel Drive with the rear domination. And there is also a unique way to open the hatch.
