Trains at Lewes, ECL - 1/7/19

Welcome to the latest episode of Big Trip! Today I am at Lewes on the East Coastway Line where services are seen by Southern (brand of Govia Thameslink Railway) only. Lewes was nice to return to, the station is located on a triangle and sees the tracks divulge but head from the same direction initially (that being from Eastbourne). The scenery is quite nice, with a very countryside like feel with a couple of small cliffs in the background too. The station is very well looked after with flowers planted and a lovely stone path surrounding the area. The traction was to be expected, nothing out of the ordinary but very good nonetheless. Nice to see some 313s again, certainly ones in a nicer livery than before! This station is recommended for sure and is worth a visit to.
