Acrylic Pouring - Sunset Feather - I was playing with my new split cup and wanted to try to do a straight ripple pour straight across the middle. I have a few other ideas lined up in my head but this was top of the list as last time I felt I needed to use all the paint and ended up pouring all over the place and I think I lost the composition a little. So, I tried to stay on target, but for some reason I couldn't help coming back across. But, as usual this technique always surprises and the afterthought becomes the main focus - in this case the "feather". When I first saw this thing appearing I thought it looked like an ear of corn blowing in the wind at sunset or a palm leaf or a fern in autumn or something. but having showed it to a few people they all said feather immediately so I guess that's what it is :-) Also you probably notice my background is different for this one - to be honest I've been using the Loli Vefe silicone sheet for longer than I should. Its a mess and wont clean any more (actually it stained on my first use), so I thought switching to something less distracting would be better. Let me know your thoughts on that also.
