Written by Gerry Goffin and Carole King. Arranged by Garry Sherman and produced by Gerry Goffin. (The picture sleeve is from a Dutch release on Colpix/Artone). Hailing from Providence, RI, by the early 60s, Freddie was working for Aldon Music as a writer while still pursuing his career as a singer. Around this time, he and Helen Miller wrote "The Door Is Open", a Hot 100 entry for Tommy Hunt. Freddie cut two 45s for Joy, including "When The Wind Changes", which was re-released in 1963, in the wake of his big hit with Goffin-King's "Hey Girl". The latter reached #10 on the Hot-100 and was followed by “I Got A Woman”, which made it to #48. The flipside was this fab song from Gerry Goffin and Carole King. Sadly, we lost Freddie in June 2007 and Gerry Goffin in June 2014. Freddie was inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall Of Fame in 2014.
