The response for the ACE People’s Choice Award nominations has been incredible from the Avondale community! 🙌 It’s been inspiring to see so many residents rally behind the local businesses that make Avondale such a special place. Round 1 nominations are now closed, and we’re excited to share that the top three most-nominated businesses will advance to Round 2 voting, which opens tomorrow, Tuesday, February 10th. This next round puts the decision directly in the hands of the community as we determine this year’s People’s Choice finalist. As we look ahead, let’s take a moment to recognize our 2024–2025 People’s Choice Award Winner: Sardinha BJJ 🥋 Located in the heart of Old Town along Western Avenue, Sardinha BJJ is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy led by Paula and Wesclay Sardinha.
