How to update MINI cooper R-series LCI NAV system to the latest wireless software after 2024

Hi guys, I have been trying for a long time to update the software for the wireless functionality in my Mini roadster. Not because I am running into issues, but just because it is possible and I feel like it should be the most recent version (: After many failed attempts and frustration I finally found the solution on a BMW forum. I guess I am not the only one that has had an issue with the updates so I hope this video will safe you some frustration and hours doing research (: I have found the software in this Google Drive (youtube wont let me enter a full link, so open in browser and combine these 2 parts): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t PiV6_wVmodKyW4jyU6OTE2zABTearVu/view?usp=drive_link Be aware, this is not mine, please double check that it is correct. Steps to take: Format a usb stick into fat32 Download the UPD01008.bin Copy this to the usb stick Go to your car and follow the steps provided in the video. This should also work for certain BMW nav systems that have software starting with MX and TX. Your system will be forever up to date if it shows: MX-003.005.004 TX-003.005.008 If your system shows anything different from this (but starts with MX and TX, then you can update with UPD01008!
