The new Smeg coffee machine surprised me! Minipro review

The Minipro espresso machine from Smeg is as beautiful as it is pricey but what matters most, does it make good coffee? Smegging Oath it does! Why I was always down on Smeg espresso machines was because it felt like more effort had gone into the design than the actual guts of the machine. But a few years ago Smeg acquired La Pavoni, one of the oldest espresso machine manufacturers in Milan, Italy. And I had my concerns as to whether Smeg would dilute the brand but I was assured they would work together to share technology and both companies would have improved machines in the future. Well, that day has come with Smeg's first "real" espresso machine. I say real because this feels like their first real effort into making something that not only looks good but is actually very solid. It's not the best machine on the market and it doesn't have all the tech other machines have but its beautiful and it makes excellent coffee and if you're already a Smeg fan, then you are going to want to get this machine.
