In this video, I show how to convert a ComfyUI workflow into a scalable Serverless API using RunPod, enabling batch generation of high-resolution images on demand. This approach eliminates manual UI interaction and lets you pay only for the actual compute time used, dramatically improving efficiency for large-scale image generation. I demonstrate the full process from exporting and containerizing the ComfyUI workflow, deploying it as a Serverless endpoint, to debugging common payload issues. Finally, I walk through a Python script example that triggers parallel API calls to generate hundreds of images efficiently. The result is a flexible, cost-effective solution for automating image generation at scale, with recommendations on handling the current beta tooling’s limitations through manual adjustments. 🕒 Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 00:45 Overview & Plan 01:06 Review the Workflow 01:39 Export the Workflow 02:02 Convert with ComfyUI-to-API 03:03 Verify Dockerfile and Models 04:25 Create Repository and Files 05:10 Deploy Endpoint on RunPod 06:36 Test with Example Payload 07:07 Cold Start Delay and Error 08:03 Fix Payload 09:00 View the Generated Image 09:10 Batch Generation 10:42 Get Endpoint URL and API Key ➤ Links: Beta tool to convert workflow to repository: https://comfy.getrunpod.io/ Official GitHub repo: https://github.com/runpod-workers/wor...
