The sequel to "Gwyndlegard" and "The Rockspring Revolution" is a fully modded, 7 scenario campaign which comes with 400+ new units and graphics. You can now play "The Relics of Athalën" with your Steam version of the game! Follow the steps in the video, or the guide below, to install the campaign: To play the campaign with AoE2HD you need to install the AoE2HD Compatibility Patch, which allows you to play scenarios and mods made for the CD version in the HD edition, without purchasing the CD version. STEP-BY-STEP INSTALLATION GUIDE: 1) Install the Compatibility Patch (link above) in the same folder where you installed AoE2 HD, usually "C:\\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD". 2) Extract the files in this .zip to their corresponding subfolder in the main Age2HD directory: The file in the "Campaign" folder goes to "C:\\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\Scenario" The files in the "Ai" folder go to "C:\\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\AI" The files in the SOUND/scenario folder go to "C:\\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\SOUND\scenario" The files in the DATA folder go to "C:\\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD\DATA" 3) IMPORTANTLY - do NOT extract the files into the folders found in the "resources" folder, they HAVE to go in the main Age2HD folder. 4) Start up the game from the "age2_x1" folder, using the file with the green helmet icon (age2_x2.exe). 5) Enjoy the campaign!
