Welcome on down to another edition of Arcade Appreciation. Today we're taking a look at Mega Man: The Power Battle. Originally released in Japan on October 18, 1995, the game never really saw much state wide release until it appeared in the 2004 Mega Man compilation Mega Man Anniversary Collection. But yes! A Mega-Arcade game exists! And that's Mega-Cool! The premise is rather simple - up to two players can choose from Mega Man, Bass, or Proto Man and do battle with Mega Man bosses of old from Mega Man 1 - 7. There's three groupings with the bosses (With 7 getting its own group as it was the most recent Mega-Game at the time) so folks new or unfamilar with Mega Man games can get a taste of all kinds of different bosses from throughout Mega-History.
