Did you miss the webinar on rooftop or on-roof insulation? No problem: Vladimir and Paul Southcott from Heco Schrauben (screws) show you what to look for when choosing screws. Specifically, we will discuss the differences between pure partial thread screws and partial thread screws with underhead threads. In a small experiment (00:35), Paul shows what happens when roof hooks for PV systems are screwed onto rooftop or on-rafter insulation. You can clearly see the advantages (01:22) of using Heco-Topix-Plus T-Solar with underhead threading. The roof hook remains in the desired position, the insulation material is not compressed, the counter batten remains in position, unevenness is avoided and the roof hook remains firmly and reliably in place.
