Belgium is currently at a crucial stage to stem the further spread of the coronavirus. The governments have taken their responsibility and taken drastic measures that have a major impact on our daily lives. This requires great adaptability from all of us. We have to do this for ourselves, but also for the others and especially for the vulnerable among us. Mathilde and I think of each of you, especially those affected by the disease. We also empathize with the elderly who are isolated in their own home or in a care institution. Also for parents it is not easy to reorganize their family. And young people are also asked to have a sense of responsibility. Our attitude in this is essential and can save lives. On behalf of the entire country, I would like to thank everyone who works day and night, in hospitals and in primary care. We realize that doctors, nurses and all caregivers make exceptional efforts. This crisis directly affects our businesses and businesses, employees and the self-employed. Most of the economic sectors are severely affected. Courageous decisions are urged to absorb the shock. Ladies and gentlemen, The current situation reminds us of our vulnerability, but at the same time it brings out our strength. Each of us can help to overcome this crisis.
