This is probably one of our biggest highlights of our Cambodian trip. Tonle Sap lake is also unique due to how it gains it's water as there only a 1 river that supplies the lake with water and flows out from the lake, this is due that the level of the lake is at such a level that it even out from the Mekong river. Meaning, that in the rainy season, water flows into the lake from the Mekong river and in the dry season, it flows back out into the mekong river. We were curious as to how people around the lake live and sustain life along side this lake, so we booked a tour with a boat company and went out to go check it out.
