This is how I initially set-up globally control over FX and other parameters in a Boss GT-1000 Core via Midi using OnSong interface sending SysEx commands. This works across ALL patches for GLOBAL control over the device and not needing to be assigned at patch level. It offers an introduction to using SysEx (think of it as a programming language for your Boss device) and how to implement simple SysEx commands.
