Kinematic Coupling

This is a DIY kinematic coupling. This is a variation of the Kelvin clamp, that uses V grooves because they are easier to machine. 192 measurements were made, 3 sets of 64. The first two sets were made to be sure the measuring system is capable enough. Finally the last set of measurements was made by decoupling and coupling 64 times and the total variation was .0003". The contact surfaces were not oiled, this might be a future test. The sensor used is a Bently Nevada 3300 XL eddy current sensor. During testing there was a downward trend, this might be due to wear on the leveling setscrews. These were not lapped.
