I am simply demonstrating the capabilities that I have independently seen, with my specific laser unit, on my specific rifle. But I will say that between my SomoGear, my Holosun LS221, and my Steiner DBAL-i2, the SomoGear without a doubt has the most powerful emitters and is also the least expensive of the three. Still, just on principle, I would be more inclined to depend on the Steiner if I needed to place any degree of trust in my laser. That said, I really enjoy the look and feel of the SomoGear and I think it's awesome to have a sufficiently functional unit that sort of "wears the clothes" of a PEQ-15 or LA-5. If I were to keep the SomoGear laser on this rifle, my primary night aiming method would be passive aiming through the Leupold Deltapoint Pro, and the laser would augment that if I needed something else.
