Our adventure in Colón and Panama City turned out to be one of those days where you say, “Let’s just explore a little”… and suddenly you’ve packed in history, skyline views, shopping, coffee breaks, and about 12,000 steps. 😄 From Colón — the gateway on the Caribbean side — we made our way to vibrant Panama City with our fantastic guide, Arturo, who brought the city’s past and present to life with stories, insight, and plenty of local pride. Having Arturo with us made the experience richer, smoother, and far more meaningful. Casco Viejo stole the show. Cobblestone streets, beautifully restored colonial buildings, colorful balconies, music floating through the plazas — it felt like walking through a living postcard. Every corner begged for a photo… and we happily obliged. Of course, we found Hat Street. Because let’s be honest — you can’t visit Panama and not try on a Panama hat. After a few serious “modeling sessions” and some expert-level debating, we secured one. Mission accomplished. 🎩 The waterfront views? Stunning. The Pacific stretching wide, boats gliding by, and that dramatic modern skyline rising behind the historic district. It’s a city that says, “We honor our past… but we build big too.” Tradition continues — new ornament secured. The collection grows, and so do the stories behind each one. 🎄✨ And then, just like that, it was time to head back toward Colón, squeeze in a little last-minute shopping near the port, and say goodbye to Panama. Another day. Another country. Another reminder that this world is big, beautiful, and full of surprises.
