Pesche Caramellate / Caramelized Peaches - Baked peaches are delicious and easy! Fresh peaches with honey, brown sugar and cinnamon, baked until warm and tender. Add ice cream or enjoy them just as they are! SUPPLIES: • Primo or Quattro With Stand Wood Burning Pizza Oven • Ciao Bella Stainless Steel Tuscan Grill INGREDIENTS: • 4-5 fresh, very ripe Ontario peaches halved and pitted • ½ cup brown sugar • ½ teaspoon cinnamon • Zerillo Pure Canadian Honey, for serving • Maldon salt, for serving • Mint, for serving • Vanilla ice cream, for serving DIRECTIONS: Yield: 10 servings (adjust as desired) STEP 1 Start by warming up the Ciao Bella Stainless Steel Tuscan Grill in the Ciao Bella Pizza Oven at 600/650°F. STEP 2 In a separate bowl mix together the brown sugar and the cinnamon. STEP 3 Split the peaches in half, and remove the pits. No need to peel the skins! They will soften up just fine when you cook the baked peaches in the oven. STEP 4 Dip the top of the peach halves in the mix of sugar and cinnamon. STEP 5 Place the peaches facing down on top of the hot Ciao Bella Stainless Steel Tuscan Grill. STEP 6 Grill the peach halves inside the oven on top of hot charcoal at 600/650°F for 3 to 5 minutes, or until caramelized. The grill must be very hot to prevent the peaches from sticking. Pay attention not to burn the peaches. STEP 7 Once ready remove the peaches from the oven. STEP 8 Flip the peach halves and serve hot on a plate with a scoop of ice cream on top. STEP 9 Finish the dish with a drizzle of Zerillo Pure Canadian Honey, a pinch of Maldon salt, and a leaf of mint. Enjoy!
